Paola Cake Atelier was born to combine my two passions: art and baking. After studying industrial and interior design, with the addition of many art classes throughout my life, I discovered my passion for creating sweets, chocolates, and cakes. The mixture of flavors and textures, combined with the colors and shapes, inspired me to make different and innovative creations every day. I complemented my education by taking classes with the best pastry chefs, as well as attending the World Pastry Forum in Las Vegas along with many cake conventions throughout the span of my life.
After 17 years being the premier cake artist in my native country, Venezuela, catering for the most exclusive clients, celebrity couples and high profile events, I was invited by the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach to be their Cake Artist, an honor that I had for a year before opening my own business in Miami, Florida.
Throughout my 8 years of baking cakes for the most amazing clients in Miami, I started teaching and sharing my experience, secrets and techniques with all kinds of sugar enthusiasts. From hobbits to professional wanting to expand on this fantastic art.
